Privacy Policy

Who we are
Darkhorse Traders LLC ("Darkhorse", "we", "us") operates KnockPlan (the "Service"). This policy explains how we handle personal information in the Service and on the private offer pages it hosts.
Two kinds of information
Account information: information about you, our customer (name, business, phone, email, brand materials, settings, billing records, support messages, and records of the consents you give). We decide how this is used.
Homeowner information: information about property owners that you upload or type in (names, property and mailing addresses, sale dates, phone numbers, emails, notes, numbers for offer pages). You decide how this is used; we process it for you to run the Service and for no other purpose.
What we collect automatically
Basic technical records needed to run and secure the Service (for example, sign-in events, errors and request logs kept by our hosting providers).
For offer pages: a count of how many times a page was opened with its code, and the time of the last open. We do not store the family's code, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies anywhere in the Service.
How we use information
To provide the Service: sign you in, store your houses, print your pieces, host offer pages, show your reports, and provide support.
To keep the Service safe: prevent abuse, enforce limits, and investigate problems.
To run our business: bill you, and, if you opt in, send product news or feature your results as a case study.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use homeowner information to market to homeowners or share it with other customers.
Who helps us (subprocessors)
We use a small number of providers to host and run the Service: Cloudflare (hosting, the print engine, security), Supabase (database, sign-in, file storage; United States data center), and Anthropic (reading uploaded files you choose to send to the smart reader). Offer pages load fonts from Google Fonts. The Subprocessors page lists them and what each receives.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, subject to this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and homeowner information while your account is active. When you delete a house it is removed from the Service; when you use "Delete all my houses" we remove your houses, history, offer pages and uploaded images. After an account ends we delete Your Content within 30 days of the export window closing, except where law requires us to keep records (for example, invoices). Backups expire on our providers' schedules.
Uploaded list files are read and then discarded; we keep only the houses you choose to add.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, each customer can only reach their own records (enforced by the database), offer pages are encrypted with the family's code and served in an isolated browser sandbox, and access to production systems is limited. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away at cody@darkhorsetraders.com if you suspect a problem.
Your choices and rights
Customers can view, correct, export (Settings → Download everything) and delete their data at any time, and can email us for anything else.
Homeowners: the investor who contacted you controls your information. Ask them directly to stop contacting you or to delete your information. You can also email us at cody@darkhorsetraders.com and we will pass the request to them and help them act on it.
Depending on where you live (for example, California and other states with privacy laws), you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses of your information. We honor these requests as the law requires and will not discriminate against you for making them.
Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date and, for material changes, ask customers to review them in the app.
